The leading platform for founder-physicians in aesthetic medicine.
For physicians who want to build something exceptional — without losing what makes their practice their own.
Patient-obsessed
by design
The best practices in aesthetic medicine are built one patient at a time, by physicians who won't compromise on patient experience and outcomes.
Lineage is built around the same commitment. We run the business so the standard of care your name is attached to never has to bend — and so every patient who walks through the door feels it.
Patient excellence is the goal. Everything else is in service of it.
Why Lineage?
PHYSICIAN-LED PRACTICES
Lineage is an integrated team that builds shoulder-to-shoulder with physicians. Clinical authority stays with you.
PATIENT FIRST, ALWAYS
Every program, every system, every hire works backwards from one question: does this make the patient experience better?
A NETWORK OF EXCELLENCE
Lineage is a curated network of surgeons and dermatologists who chose to build here together. Every practice that joins strengthens the network for the rest.
About Us
The best physicians in aesthetic medicine shouldn't have to choose between doing great work for patients and running a great business.
Lineage offers a third path: genuine partnership, long-term alignment, and the operational infrastructure to grow without compromise.
For physicians ready to build from the ground up, Lineage provides the capital and expertise to launch a practice under the physician's own name. For established practices, Lineage designs a partnership around the individual surgeon's goals.
In every case, clinical authority stays with the physician.
“I co-founded Lineage with a simple goal: give the physicians who care most about patients the best possible way to build and run a business. Lineage is that platform. We’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with you to strengthen operations, elevate the patient experience, and keep physician judgment as the final word. If that’s how you want to build, we should do this together.”

The Lineage Difference
We are
-
Every program, every system, every hire works backwards from one question: does this make the patient experience better?
-
Every Lineage practice is run on the physician's clinical standards, schedule, and culture. The Medical Advisory Board is physician-staffed, and new programs are designed with the physicians who will use them. The business reports up to clinical judgment, not the other way around.
-
Lineage physicians are board-certified and chosen for the standard of work they already hold themselves to. The network compounds: peer learning, cross-referrals, shared training, and shared infrastructure.
-
Marketing, operations, finance, training, technology – every function is built alongside the physicians and teams who use it. When something doesn't work in clinic, it gets fixed by the people who own it.
We aren’t
-
The financial outcome follows the patient outcome, not the other way around. No spreadsheet can make up for a patient experience that doesn't earn the trust it should.
-
Lineage doesn't tell physicians how to practice medicine. The team handles the parts of running a business that physicians shouldn't have to spend their careers learning, and stays out of the parts they shouldn't.
-
Roll-ups consolidate for scale and exit; Lineage builds for a generation. Every practice that joins is chosen exclusively because it strengthens our network.
-
The people building marketing, operations, training, and systems work directly with the physicians and teams who use them – and adjust based on what actually works in clinic.
Sydney Lehman
Co-Founder & CEO
Sydney has spent her career on both sides of the aesthetic practice management problem that Lineage is solving. She operated two medical private practices — The US Center for Sports Medicine and the Aesthetic Surgery Institute — which she scaled from one location in St. Louis to three, and co-founded a medical-grade skincare company. After earning her MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business, she led strategy and operations at Sunrun (NASDAQ: RUN), where she scaled the company from one state to twenty-three.
